Glad to get home tonight...

...late home but home. Then a late dinner which is never good...always trying to figure out the best light meal for a late home :-/

Tonight it was stir fry with ginger marinated tofu, wee drop rice, lots of veg. Still think it was too late for that.

Was even later because I got home and then we had to do the Guide and Scout pick-up. Mr R went for Es I walked for the Rooster and then we had a bit of a walk home...not the direct route, Mr R was cooking the stir-fry anyway. It was nice just me and the Rooster just chatting...he has lots of chat the Rooster :-)

Wee Es came in and dozed off at the dining room table while her Dad and I were eating. She had had a good few hours at the Vote Count today after her long polling day yesterday.

On that front always a mixed bag. We increased our vote and we increased our number of Councillor's but the nature of this election and how it is conducted saw us loose some good councillors and on a personal note that makes me sad, however, we also gained some new ones.

Grateful for a wee hour at the dining room table tonight surrounded by the family.
