Lovely evening cycling through the park by a small lake. A normal day at work with lots of administration, scheduling and the never ending request for information - non forthcoming!

Not a creative or very productive day really, although you have to keep the wheels turning in order to make the space for the more rewarding activities.

An observation that some academics have created an entire industry out of 'gobbledygook' whereby nobody can really challenge or understand them. So much for the new government emphasis on research impact. Sometimes it seems that the only impact many people are after is to protect themselves from any impact.

The wheels keep turning and we go round and around in never ending circles......when will we ever learn, be brave and make a difference.
