Lunch with Crackers and Cheese

More on my self study of 'suburbananity' - a sort of neologism I have conceived. This is a type of mundanity of suburban living that might sometimes give rise to profanity!

It took me all of 2 minutes to arrange my plate before 'tuc'n' in. Good old crackers and cheese but upgraded a little with spring onions, cherry tomatoes, camembert, prosciutto and edam. We have come a long way in 20 years - having started off with Jacobs crackers and cheddar + Branston pickle if you were lucky.

A lovely day in the garden, hot and dry with blue sky. Changed and upgraded to 'go faster' continental tyres today and degreased the chainset and gears - very messy. Other mundane DIY type stuff as well.

This is what suburban people do !!

Waiting for the general strike call from the TUC conference. Hence the title of today's blip. Interesting times now ahead as the Olympics euphoria fades away and we all get back to work (or not if the trade unions decide). p.s. where is my pay rise??
