Jackie circa 1975

At the shop today someone donated a copy of the Jackie Annual. Although the actual book is only a few years old it is made up from genuine pages of the old magazine.
I, like every other teenager in the seventies was an avid reader . I seem to recall it cost 3p in my time and I would go to the newsagent every Thursday on my way home from school and then spend the evening tucked up in my bedroom reading it from cover to cover. My walls were adorned with pull-outs, mostly of Donny Osmond, but also David Cassidy and David Essex. I WAS going to marry Donny one day, no doubt about it!
In this picture he says' I like to see girls in long print dresses with narrow waist and full flared skirts. Makes me feel romantic just thinking about it.' That wasn't me so I guess I never really had a chance :((
All this will resonate with most of my female blipmates but what about you chaps. Come on Crispin, Fotoday, Ben, Mark - who did you lust over in your teenage years?
