What a little cherub

This figure is part of a massive carved fireplace at Joyce Grove, Nettlebed. The house dates back to 1725 and was the childhood home of Ian Flemming. It was also used as a location in the film 'The Imitation Game'. It is now a hospice and has many lovely features still in tact.
It costs £7000 a day to run and some of that money comes from the monthly sales of everything from furniture to books to clothes. People come from afar to bring their donations and there is a volunteer force of 100+ to prepare and sell those items.
