Nest Building

Fabulous but bitterly cold and windy day at Bempton Cliffs! There were thousands of gannets - some of which were gathering grass from the top of the cliffs and flying away to build their nests. Such an amazing sight to see so many gannets in one place!

It was difficult to steady my camera in the wind and using my  tripod was out of the question but I still managed to come away with plenty of photos I was happy with! The week should improve a little weather-wise after today :))

Many thanks for everything for yesterday's blip and for still calling in on my journal whilst I am here and internet use is very restricted. Comments off because I really am unable to respond much at the moment.
