Mono Monday . . . Intention

My intention was to see if I could show autumn in a mono image.  I walked on the walk way behind my house and through the beautiful deciduous trees.  I tried mono and colour for the images I took.  I found mono was okay and in many shots I preferred the shades of grey to the brilliant oranges and reds of the leaves.  I hope the pool of light beneath this tree shows you what a sunny day it was.  Many leaves have fallen but there are still many more to fall.  A wet spell is forecast for later in the week so maybe it will be a bare tree by the weekend.
