Colour on a wet day

These are in full bloom on my driveway at the moment. Love the sudden colour appearing through the trees and bushes as I drive up. On a day like today they are particularly cheery looking, when all around is drab and grey.

Headed back out in the rain to get a close up of the raindrops against the gorgeous colour..... Not perfect but it is more about the way these made me feel getting home today than an example of wonderful photography!
