Sleep tight Lucinda

Lovely warm day today - not so nice for running in though and I struggled around the parkrun course today, finishing in 30 minutes 10 seconds.

Lucinda still wasn't looking herself all afternoon - I kept checking on her and her breathing seemed very fast. Ethan had his friend Logan round for dinner and just before Logan went home, I realised Lucinda was dead. We waited for Logan to go before we broke the news to Ethan. All I said was "come here, I need to give you a hug" and he said "Lucinda has died hasn't she" and burst into tears. Poor thing - he does love his pets. We've buried her beside her sister Anna, who weirdly enough, died exactly a year ago today.
