Pladda and Ailsa Craig

Lovely drive south this morning to Kildonan. A really perfect day of sunshine, seaside and family fun. Lunch at the Kildonan Hotel, outside in the warm sun followed by ice cream in Lamlash. Then back to Auchrannie for a swim and the young are doing a BBQ for us all tonight. Glass of fizz called for.

The picture is the island of Pladda and its Lighthouse just off Kildonan. The extra is looking the other way towards the Ayrshire coast.

Thank you for all your generous comments, stars and hearts yesterday. The wifi is definitely on the blink so I'm afraid it's tricky to respond or comment on anyone's blips for the next day or two.
