Cyd

When I arrived home from the cruise last Friday, Cyd turned up very quickly. She was looking lean and I imagined she was pleased to see me.

She didn't turn up the following morning - the Saturday when I went down to London. I'm absolutely sure she can't be a stray as she is too well groomed and put on weight when I was away the first time.

Those of you who have met Cyd before know that I named her after Six Dinner Sid - the cat who convinced six households that he was theirs and theirs alone.

I suspect she may have spent the day with her other family. She arrived on Sunday afternoon, when I got back and again pretended to be hungry. (I am a softie and gave her extra)

I collected Sparkie from the cattery first thing this morning. She has munched down some food, purring, and is now sleeping for England.

Cyd has been in evidence, posing and, at this point, rolling over looking cute. She doesn't need to worry. I've stocked up with extra cat food from the supermarket and she will have her tea when Sparkie wakes up.

She looks cute in the larger version too - but you can see she picks up bits of dust and stuff in her fur.
