Riding Rocky Top

Got to ride the great trails at Rocky Top this morning before heading to an afternoon winery meeting. Our friend sold his business and retired about a year ago, so he has been available for mountain bike rides, food preparation, and yard work our entire stay (he and his wife are also the ones who hosted us in Bend the past weekend). Makes for a much more enjoyable stay when I have someone with whom I can do fun stuff like this. It was perfect weather today, sunny and warm even at 9:30 in the morning and the flowers were out in force, contrasting nicely with the bright blue sky. Off tomorrow to Seattle to visit our son and his wife for a week of yard work at their house.
