Park Guell in Barcelona
We all headed out early this morning to visit the large market Mercat de la Boqueria just in case the Pinotxo bar was sold out of its famous pastry " chu cho" that G & M had heard about. It was well worth our early start. The food stalls were bustling with local people buying their fruit, meat and fish etc.
Mrs AMK and I then visited the very old church of Santa Maria del Pi completed in 1391 .
All the walking had tired us out so we had a siesta but later in the afternoon we visited Park Guell another creation of the amazing Antoni Gaudi. This was another amazing experience and from the park we had another view of the Sagrada Familia towering above the surrounding Barcelona buildings.( see extra taken with telephoto lens)
