England and Wales

We have had the English pub table and chairs for some years.  The table came with a house our son bought, and I found the basically matching chairs in an antiques store.  The Welsh Cupboard is a recent purchase.  The latter is so recent we've had no time to decorate with books, treasures, etc.  I sent a photo of the cupboard to friends in Wales, and he said it looked much like the one in his parents' home.  The vertical boards that serve as the back to the cupboard are tongue and groove panels about 3/4 of an inch thick.  The cupboard is all one piece without having the cabinet below and shelves above as separate units as is sometimes the case in what I grew up knowing as a hutch.  It is made of pine and the table and chairs are oak.  The cupboard is 69" wide and 79" tall.  It is a heavy piece.
