ANZAC Day Dawn Service at sea......

......was so emotional.
 Dawn was extraordinary.
The entire boat was on deck by 4.45am. We had the Last Post and Reveille. Tim did a reading, The Driver was asked to read The Ode. I cried, but then I always do..... how awesome that not one person failed to attend.

Then, at 6am to catch the tide (which is 10 metres by this time) we set off in the dinghys to go mud crabbing. A very successful mission which netted 20 of the big boys which Toby then turned into a most delicious chilli crab dinner!!  A couple of the baited nets were stolen by crocodiles and taken deep into the mangroves but we managed to retrieve them, (the nets not the crocs).

My extras are a few of the bad boys and another local - a magnificent osprey.
