Here there and everywhere

End of week 2 and I'm shattered!   The trainee teachers I've been working with are lovely and really quite strong and on the ball, but the group as a whole is very needy and stressed out.  The first assignment was due in this morning and you could feel the tension in the air.  Egyptians are not used to having to resubmit anything and they get overly worried about it, even though we tell them it's normal and nothing to worry about.  Our pregnant trainee (8 months and 2 weeks!!) had a melt down at the end of the day today.  She's getting bigger by the day and she was teaching this afternoon with lower back pains and could feel the baby moving.  Not good!  It's such a stressful course at the best of times, I wonder about her doing it.

Anyway, after a lovely dinner and catch up with Undercovercairo in 5 Bells, the world was a better place again!

My blip's from the inside of Diwan´s bookshop, on the corner of 26th July Street, Zamalek.
