Not a tortoiseshell

I went out rather late for my walk today. Was going to skip a day as found yesterday a bit of a grind but in the end I had to go out and make the most of the beautiful sunshine.
I went to my usual haunt of Far Ings. About 5 mins into the walk I spotted a tortoiseshell butterfly (my first of the season) but while it was wonderfully still for me I was too far away to get a really decent shot (was down a steep bank!) A little further on I spotted this more common white but I really liked it on the blossom and it was obligingly closer AND still :-)
