Olive groves
Before we left this morning for our last expedition, we gave Boris, the aged Renault 4 a push to bump start it. The starter motor has gone so R drive it to the man who fixes, followed by the rest of us in the Fiat Panda.
We set off from the lighthouse in Port Soller, as R wanted to find an alternative more scenic walk than the G221 we took a few days ago. This was scenic though not very obvious to find, and involved some scrambles along the clifftop. We thought we'd done well till we had our lunch stop and a pair of Norwegian women appeared. The first said of the second "she's a bit slow but she is almost 80".
When we reached another off-shoot of the GR221 we passed some pretty olive groves on a nice track and then got back to the port. We had a beer there, and headed home.
Some had a snooze but I de iced to grave the pool and had a bracing swim.
Our last night, so we are off for tapas and some rough wine to distract ourselves from what appears to be disastrous election results.
