The Tide Is High

We went to Watergate Bay and walked on the beach in the cold wind, and watched the tide edging closer. We ate an excellent lunch at the cafe there, then drove a few miles to Bedruthan Steps shown in the photo. We should have done it the other way round as the tide was fully in by the time we got to Bedruthan and when we got to the bottom of the Steps , we could go no further. The  views were pretty good from the top of the cliffs though and the wild flowers are a picture at the moment. 

We said goodbye to the others and headed back to Padstow, we toyed with the idea of heading home this evening but have decided to have one last night and try to get away early . So it's fish and chips by the harbour this evening!
