Bright Light City

Another travelling day and what a contrast. We have left the high, cold, dry, Tibetan area of Yunnan province, and flown to the warm humid City of Guilin, where there are fabulous rock formations called Karsts which we are hoping to see tomorrow on our River cruise.
We went wandering around the city tonight on a luckless quest for a recommended Restaurant. Footsore and weary we arrived back at our hotel still hungry , and had rather poor Western food , steak, with red wine chilled to within an inch of its life. Not so good. Never mind. Put it down to experience and tomorrow is another day.
