A celebration
Happy 60th anniversary to my nanna and pa, a wonderful milestone that I hope to reach one day.
Sunday was spent with family, some I haven't seen for a while and some extended family too that I have only met a few times and who remember me as a young girl, they were pleased to meet my 3 young girls and. They were a bit quite a first and clang to my leg for a while, just the volume of people that they didn't know, they were wary. Before lunch had started though the ice was broken and they were running around amongst people, having fun as kids do.
Dad had prepared a lamb spit roast and a few webbers with pork and beef, and it smelled awesome. And tasted even better!! It was a lovely day spent lazy in the sun and chatting amoungst family. Kids fell asleep during speeches it had been a long and sugar loaded day for them and they were now coming down on the low.
I had planned to take photos, but as it turned out I only managed a handful of shots, the kids had me fully occupied, I loved this one with Paige my cousin and Maddie playing under the lemon tree, kids raided it and we made lemonade today yuuummm they love their lemons. Lara fell asleep clutching hers.
