It was very hard to keep the camera steady in the strong wind as I took photos of the view towards the mountains between Wetherlam and the Langdale Pikes in the Lake District. We reminisced about many past holidays when we had climbed all of those tops,  apart from one, when we were younger and fitter, and wished we had the energy to do so now. However it was still good to climb a lesser hill and enjoy the views and look down upon the scenic landscape.
On the way up we passed these lambs with their anxious mother. The native Herdwick lambs are usually black and then over the year turn grey.
