Another Unwelcome Visitor

I spotted this wee beastie poking his nose out from under a steppingstone this morning ( fortunately it's only a little mouse, not a rat )........ but I think we need too hurry up and find some new housemates as a deterrent...........although the visiting neighbourhood cat has been on sentry duty most of the day..........( see my blip of 4th April https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2295978718788585337 .......not sure if the link will work when done from my mobile)

I visited two rescue centres today and saw some gorgeous friendly cats but the pair that I had gone to meet in one of them flatly refused to come out of their little house to see me .......their elderly previous owner had passed away three weeks ago and the poor little things were completely confused.......I'll just have to try again another day :-/
