At work

First things first, yesterday's blackbird story has a happy ending, I in fact saved one of the blackbirds babies and they have been visiting the garden feeding today!!!

Just before Easter we had a call to visit a school in Birmingham after a little boy had lost his mum tragically at the age of ten.

Whilst on their bank holiday I set them a task to draw Roo and Bean I fouls then visit and award a prize to the best girl and best boys picture.

I emailed a picture of both dogs so the children could refresh their memories.

Although Bean is a firm favourite with the children, Roo is adored by the teaching staff, and the head master comes out to visit him at least twice and spends time with him, he owns a dog but he is totally obsessed by Roo and hopes to see him again soon.
