Happiness is getting all of our windows washed today!     and of course its about to rain late afternoon…. but I've enjoyed my chair by the very bright window for awhile.    Also walked up the steps ( with sling, ankle brace and walking stick) this morning for first time in weeks.   8 days til the annoying cast is changed but who’s counting,…

And tonight we're off to a UW event from the college of the environment about “Healthy ecosystems and our modern lives”…. how do scientists know what healthy ecosystems  (water, food, mental and physical rejuvenation) look like and what as individuals can we do to help conserve them?   We get to observe what the faculty and students are doing to ensure ecosystems thrive not only in the PNW but across the world.   Its always very interesting (the last one was about oceanography).  will report.
