Finally Finished

The building that has taken forever to build, disrupting neighborhood traffic, causing havok, and has replaced the vacant lots that were present for maybe 6 years after some cozy little neighborhood businesses were removed.,..

Just a few photos today on a walk in some rain…pretty dull all around.. could be good reflections on a nicer day...but wanted to record this and there was little traffic for a change.   (and I liked the in-need -of-repair-street but resisted adding something to it , other than a grungy border) …  I think its actually not a bad looking building … think I don't have a photo of the small businesses that were there (Daly’s —wonderful fish and chips and milkshakes is still very much missed!) but the extra is before building from almost the same corner.  It's going to be a corridor between downtown and the U district....alas.


Really ppreciate all the nice wishes for my 7 year blip.  i’m slowly getting to all your fine journals…!
