Day 121/17. A quick thought, a surprising result..

A bit of an abstract shot today with very little editing.
Karen and I took our grandsons  (and their mum) for a ride on the miniature steam train at Lakeside Miniature Railway.

There is a fairly lengthy (well for a miniature railway lengthy....) dark tunnel and as we were going through I had the idea to take a longer exposure.
A quick settings change in the dark and this shot is 0.5 second and shows us just leaving the tunnel. The streaking effect comes from the dim overhead lighting in the tunnel. No flash, no zooming while the shutter was open, nothing in photoshop. Just cropped and increased the saturation and thats it. I really like the effect.
Sometimes it is surprising what a camera produces.
Extra shot is my grandson dreaming of being a train driver...... (Most of you will probably prefer it :) )
