May day

1st day of May welcomed us with loads of scattered rain and sunshine in between. We managed (in between showers) walk the dog, I love this route at the back of the houses there is an alley where Lilac grows.
We love the sweet smell and Alan asked if we could take some home, I asked him for a portrait and he didn't oblige :)

Last Saturday I did a workshop for Available Light Portraiture with a photographer I had a pleasure being at his previous workshop, it was fun as usual learning new tricks and applying them onto practice.

I was looking for a background first of all which is very important in Portraiture, in both attached pictures I found some that fit perfectly with my son nature.
