Rame Head

Had a leisurely get up and went for a toasted teacake breakfast in town. Picked up some sandwiches for lunch and then headed off for the second leg of our trip. We got to Rame Head at lunchtime and had our little picnic before donning walking boots and heading off for a walk. The walk was great - spectacular scenery and lots of bluebells, butterflies, gorse and other spring flowers. The directions were fantastic - we downloaded the iwalkcornwall app and it used our GPS to keep us on track and tell us interesting facts about the route (Rame head walk).

Stopped to get some food for the week in Liskeard and then drove to the forest cabins. We were given the same cabin as last time - close to the lake and very private. We'd had to pay extra to get it last time so it was quite nice to get it again through chance. Good to rest our aching legs in the hot tub before bed.
