April's Farewell

NaPoWriMo
Came to an end today
Challenge complete did okay


Let yourself go
Don’t be disconcerted
Just get the poem inserted


Made the words flow
From my head to the page
Even though it felt very strange


I didn’t know
How they’d be conceived
Once on paper I felt relieved


NaPoWriMo
Got my juices flowing
Managed a haiku if not a poem.

Went to see Eddie Reader at the Stables. I think she’s my favourite female singer and performer. It was a wonderful evening.
