Cute little monster

Today we were orienteering in Danesfield Woods, near Otley. This is a pretty wood on a hillside which made it hard work in the latter stages as the finish was at the top of the hill. The organising club had laid out an inviting little string course for the very young orienteers and each control site had a different character standing guard. The extra is a wood carving I came across when strolling round the woods with Jimmy after my earlier exertions.
