Sparkly!

A pathetic gym session, but it all counts. Then I dropped JR off to tidy up a friend's flat for the next visitors, and drove on to Braidburn Valley to take Archie for a walk. What a lovely day it was - warm and sunny (extra). Archie was in and out of the river and had a great time.

As JR was still occupied, when I came home I decided to bath Archie. I never do this, as it requires lots of bending and more energy than I have at my disposal. I carried in the wee picnic table for him to stand on (less bending for me) but it was a bit wobbly, and I had to put my foot on it, so I got well and truly soaked. However, he had his wash (though perhaps not as thorough as normal) and blow dry and a wee whizz over with the clippers.

Yesterday, Elizabeth took Archie to visit her friend who has opened a new shop, and he was given this smart sparkly bow tie. She wanted a photo of him wearing it. He posed happily (not).

We're off for a few days to a dog friendly hotel. Sorry Archie, no breakfast tomorrow, and fingers crossed for a vomit-free journey.
