On a bicycle made for 1, 2, 3, 4......16
Firstly many apologies for not commenting much in the last few days. I'll get better.
Another good day. A long, pleasant walk into town, for good coffee and a chance to pick a few things up.
This image reminded me of a page in a Richard Scarry book where a long like of what appear to be elephants are joined tail to trunk as they walk along. Not tied as in a knot but anatomically joined. I tried to find a picture but haven't managed it yet.
A couple of hours in the allotment, terribly dry. Hardly any rain this month - 8% of the usual April totals. Despite watering seeds are not germinating.
We then had a quick trip to Tenterden to have a proper look at the Lego Bricks Britannia exhibition which has been on all month. It was an opportunity for members to see the models and particularly the Flying Scotsman before the exhibition is dismantled.
From there we travelled to Boughton Monchelsea village hall for a night of entertainment organised by the Friends of St Peter's Church. We're not from the village but have friends who are. We went to a similar event last year to raise funds to support Cumbria after Storm Desmond. It was a great evening, with many different folk acts mostly from the village supported by a Show of Hands tribute band called Tray of Flans.
