Perspectives

I see him everyday. With his furry hat, parka coat and old work boots. We usually pass the time of day,"Hello duck," and comment on the weather. This day, as all others, I see the twelve pack of beer tucked neatly under his arm. I wonder what he does all day. He seems alone, with only the beer for company, and the few people out walking dogs first thing before the hustle and bustle of the school children fill the street.

There she goes with that dog again. It never rests, poor bugger. If I had a dog it ud be sat wi me not dragged around in all weathers. "Hello duck," I call cheerfully. I'm going over to my dad's a bit later, I might just get the beer delivered instead of this every day. He likes to spend his afternoons playing dominoes with his mates, no wonder they get through so much but it gives them something to do.

From behind the hedge a curtain twitches and through his watery eyes the old man watches the morning's events unfold. The dog, the woman and the man with his beer. "Do they live round here?" He wonders If he knows them or if he's seen them before.

This blip again uses the pencil feature and a colour effect from the iPad. The viaduct has featured before and from close up it seems an even more magnificent structure as the true scale is evident
