As for today...

I have completed preparation for a new quilt top...
derris dusted the broccoli against the persistent white butterflies,
at Dr D's request given him guidelines as to how he was to trim the hedge with the powered hedge-cutter(which he totally ignored),
knitted a hat, had a garden bonfire,planted some fresh herbs both in garden and pots, gathered silver beet to go with tonight's gurnard (shall refer to the unfailing Digby Law for inspiration), booked a sparky for some tasks at Lake Tarawera next week and did a "ward round" of the garden enjoying the last sharp colours of autumn blooms. A beautiful day again today but with some rain promised for the weekend.
