Flash, Bang, Wallop!

That is what happened when I fitted the new control box to the lathe.
I knew it was the motor!
Now I have to wait while they collect the entire lathe, replace the broken bits, find out why they broke and return it.
Still, it's under warranty.

Confusion as to why a scabby Hawthorn would have a Preservation Order tag on it.
Tiny blue flowers
A happy blue bear despite having got itself lost and losing an ear.
Peeling bark
A determined Squirrel dragging her transport up a steep hill.
A Limpet with seaweed in my pond.
And a new pattern on the loo window at Bag's house.

We got confirmation today that we are going away next weekend to Kenmore.
Just as well I have found my tripod (under the poppies in the spare room) as I intend to get some early morning and/or sunset shots over the Crannog.
