Evening walk up Hampsfell

Today was one of my U3A walking days. We did an 8.5 mile circular from Elterwater through Little Langdale and over Slater's Bridge, a bit of the Wrynose pass before taking a path to Blea Tarn and the col beyond. We then climbed Lingmore before descending to Chaple Stile and along the river to Elterwater. On my return home Mr B declared he wanted/needed a walk so half an hour after getting in I was heading up Hampsfell. It was a lovely sunny evening and views all around were crystal clear. Today's blip shows the view across to Arnside Knot - my shadow on top of the hospice is visible bottom left. We saw some spotted orchids on the way up and the tiny calf which features in extras.
