River Penk, Lower Drayton
Looks like the weather is on the turn again after today. Galen Rowell, a famous American Outdoor adventurer and photographer gave some very sage advice:
'You only get one sunrise and one sunset a day, and you only get so many days on the planet. A good photographer does the math and doesn't waste either.'
With this in mind I headed for a location where I hoped that the mist would combine with the scene for a good shot.
p.s You may find this hard to believe but this scene lies within 250 feet of the M6 thundering by between Junction 12 and 13. I had to clone out the section of bridge in the background crossing the river.
And that's a whole different discussion.
