The brain is a funny thing. As if having +1/2 crash and lose her memory wasn't enough to emphasis this, a friend changed his profile picture on facebook to be a frame from a Tintin book, in French. Nothing remarkable about that.

When I was 8 my family moved to France and to help me learn French my sister and I had some Tintin and Asterix books; this was the start of my enduring love of Tintin.

When I saw the profile picture the precise Tintin book immediately came back to me despite not having read it in maybe 20 years.

A quick rummage on the book shelves later and there it was: L'Étoile Mystérieuse.
