Tokyo

Mid week and not particularly busy. Large but pleasant and airy to walk around. Drivers and pedestrians behaving themselves and all rules, regulations and traffic lights being observed appropriately. We are getting used to waiting for a green man before crossing roads and wouldn't consider stepping off a pavement on to a road. It's the Japanese way you know and we have been conditioned to accept it.
The Science Museum was interesting and gave a Japan centric view of the world that shouldn't have surprised as much as it did considering the centuries of isolation that Japan maintained till about 120 years ago. They certainly seem to have adopted or created a universally accepted western approach to life now.
