Last Day

Another early morning swim in the bay. I could get used to this. Colder than yesterday's swim but bearable.
Then a trip over to Alcatraz. Fascinating place. We were very fortunate to meet William Baker who was an inmate from 1957-1960. When he came out he was sent away again for forging paycheques. An art he'd learnt during his spell in Alcatraz.
Then we took a cable car to Union Square. I loved standing up and hanging on. That's how I managed to get this blip.
Dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. A place for families but we enjoyed it.
Packing needs to be done as we are off on out travels first thing in the morning.
