Surprise visits

Today was supposed to be crazy busy with the husband golfing all morning, a family photo session about 1.5 hrs away in the afternoon. And the weather did NOT cooperate. It started at 6 a.m. with strong winds and doors slamming, and then it rained and rained and rained.

The husband still golfed....and got soaked to the bone. And my photo session was rescheduled to a (hopefully) dried afternoon. Of course, after we rescheduled, the sun started peeking through so it may have all been in vain. Oh well.

Our youngest cousin stopped for a visit in the afternoon. The girls were so happy to see him. He is such a doll baby.

Our oldest munchkin slept over at a friends, we dined on some wonderful steak with a glass (or two!) of wine. It was a good day.
