Horses and London

A mixed, and rather busy day today!  This morning I helped a friend out who had a riding competition, but needed a hand babysitting... So we went along and babysat Harry whilst Daisy did her thing with her little Stallion - who really was quite little and went over some really rather large jumps.  I decided that three children are quite a handful thank you very much.

Then home for a quick change into 'London' clothes, whilst I changed, the eldest entertained himself trying on my shoes, smearing make-up on his face and trying on necklaces.  A rather long meeting in London, out of 14 agenda points, after an hour, we'd reached point number three... it went on so long I had to leave just to make sure I got home before turning into a pumpkin, I made it back by 11.30pm.  Thank you as ever for a very understanding husband who comes out at that time to collect me from the station. 

The picture is of the waiting area at Kemble station, it's a very lovely station.  I had thought of all the 'photo of the day' possibilities today... action horse shots, beautiful London picture... but no - no time or opportunity today, feels like a wasted opportunity.
