Spots of color are appearing...

Dear Diary,

Here and there spots of color are appearing.  My daffodils are so late this year but I welcome them with open arms.  After the monochrome winter color is just what my world needs.

There is still one dirty pile of snow at the edge of my driveway.  It is about 2 feet tall but that is a far cry from the 12 foot pile that was there a couple of months ago!

Matt will be back in a week to finish up the yard clean-up and Greg will be back to fix the faucet.  It is always a chore to put the house back in order and repair the winter damage.  David will need to do a bit of painting too once things dry out.  New England weather is harsh and this old house has seen a 166 winters!
