Now we have everything

Tennant and Ted

Today was a perfect day with my boy :)

He surprised me earlier in the week with priority audience tickets to the Comedy World Cup, a new panel show hosted by a very cute David Tennant.

The filming was taking place at Teddington Studios back over in West London, our old neck of the woods. Unfortunately my new-found difficulty waking up (who left that pile of bricks on my chest?) coupled with a 90 minute journey literally crossing London and hitting traffic at every turn, meant we missed the priority check in time written on the ticket.

However some higher power was on our side, so as well as making this the hottest weekend of the year so far they also made the production staff late so an hour later we were sat in the middle seats of the second row :)

The panel included David as host, Jo Brand and Jason Manford (hilarious) as team captains and Nicolas Parsons, 'that white haired guy' from Phoenix nights (David something) and two 'new' comedians.

It's always so fascinating seeing a tv show get made and the warm up guy was fantastic. By the end of the three hour recording our palms were numb from all the clapping!

This is our last summer with our (not so baby friendly) Mini Cooper convertible so we made the most of sunshine on the drive back by taking the roof down.

We drove straight to White City for a Wagamammas and Rob suggested checking out what's on at the cinema. Ted was a no brainer ;)

We made it back home for midnight and then discovered via facebook that our friends Mark and Hannah have had their baby- a little boy called George. Bump has another older playmate :)

An amazing day all round!
