Down the Point
Today began with the usual phone call and walk outside to find Dad and Dr. Bob each with an arm over the side of the rented Honda. The weather was more forgiving than yesterday, so we decided to drive down the peninsula to experience Cape Point, the penguins in Simonstown, and a few pints at the famous Brass Bell (rather, a few Savannah Dry ciders since I got them both hooked).
Today was probably the most touristy day of the trip, and other than throwing a few cookies to a baboon, I?d say we did a pretty professional job of it.
