Memories

Last night when I realised I didn't have a photo of the family on their last day, dashed for the camera at midnight hoping the camera clock was running slow and fired off a shot of the memories on the kitchen window sill.

The cards from Elliot and Charlotte and a glass bowl of daff bulbs from Kate and Barry. Just before their trip the two young ones had been practising German with an app on their tablets. Charlotte had insisted on writing the Happy Easter on her card in German "Frohe Ostern". She had been worried Angie might not understand it in English.

So this photo was taken at 00:05 am. Nothing much happened during the day anyway so was just as well.
