Had another nice long lie in, which was ridiculously late for us, before heading to spend the day at the beach!

Had a lovely relaxing few hours in the sun, but sadly it didn't seem like we were allowed to swim, which was just as well because the sea was freezing.

Headed back to Venice, and got some ice cream on the way which we ate sitting by the water. Finally found waffles, but decided I didn't want one (which I thought would make Davenport scream!).

Spent the evening drinking left over wine and watching a crime documentary together.
