Flat top

Our garden robin is sporting a flat top, feather cut hairstyle that Grace Jones would be pleased to be seen with. He/she and partner kept me company today as I did some tidying up in the neglected garden. I haven't dared go near the allotment yet.

At last the sun came out for us, Bob stretched out on top of the car and Reg basked in the sunlight. It was a restful day, a good day, topped off with a visit from Arnside Simon (who when we were away, came in every evening to keep Bob company). And I'm posting a photograph actually on the day it was taken!
