Cousins!

We met up with Roland's cousin in Gualala The trek up HighwY 1 was along by the coast, a really zigzag, windy, up and down, hairpin bend sort of road!  We were stopped once by road repairs where they seemed to be shoring up the road.  We went through redwoods, eucalyptus groves and areas with giant blue lupins along the roadside rocky escarpments.  In other places masses of white lilies.  We stopped once to look at the Pacific. I got out of the car and took some shots of the granit rocks sticking out of the sea and on the beach, went to get back in the car and Ro said: Did you get the seals?  I thought they were rocks!  (Extra). We bought some food and had a wonderful meal in Ro's cousin's place near Point Arena.  Small but with everything that's needed!  Main photo!
Just arrived back at our motel after a hazardous journey back along the windy road!  This bit nowhere near as bad as the road to the South!!
